Mazarrón offers the visitor the ideal setting to enjoy abundant leisure activities and water sports undertaken in specifically designated areas. Lovers of swimming, sunbathing and walking can find beaches with very clean waters such as La Isla, La Reya, Bahía, Nares o Castellar. There are facilities for scuba-diving clubs with all the necessary infrastructure to organise excursions, even in winter, to Cabo Tiñoso, Cala Cerrada or the Punta de los Valientes, places that are known throughout Spain for their beautiful rocky seabeds, spectacular crevices and caves, and the rich submarine communities inhabiting them.
Along the thirty-five kilometres of its coastline one sees a deep passion for sailing. There is a sports port with 200 moorings and a regatta with frequent beginner and advanced courses. It is also possible to practice rowing, para-kiting and skiing.
