Costa
Calida is Spain's number 1 property hotspot!
The Costa Cálida is a long section of the spanish coast
where the rugged landscape of the mountains extends its deserted
tranquility to the sea's edge. Progress
is continuing rapidly on the Costa Calida and surrounding areas.
Many new projects are now underway.
The new airport at Covera (near
Murcia) has finally been given the go ahead. This will definately
add to the value of property in the area. New roads are being planned,
with
the motorway
between Cartagena
and Vera is now ready to be started. Many of the country roads
are being improved and resurfaced as the traffic flow is increasing
in these areas.
Several new Marinas have been planned. In the
Port of Mazarron work has already begun. There are to be 335 berths
and a nautical
clubhouse, with café and restaurant. In the Port of San
Pedro del Pinatar, 243 new moorings are to be constructed and there
will be more leisure facilities in the harbour of Cartagena. Beautiful
new promenades are being built in Puerto de Mazarron
Shopping facilities are springing up everywhere. El Corte Inglés
is due to open up in Cartagena at the beginning of May. Also, the
Swedish furniture giant, IKEA, has chosen Murcia as the location
for a vast new store, opening early 2005.
New Golf courses are being
built with the clubhouse and property development surrounding them.
